This is a U. T. presidential political election year and a big account has been the climb of Senator Barack Obama as a serious candidate pertaining to presidency. I used to be interested in what various sectors of the dark-colored community seriously considered this and chose two magazines that pinpoint the black community because their primary target audience. JET magazine's self-described objective is to advise, educate and entertain the African American community. The Network Journal mag claims to serve the needs of black specialists and small businesses proprietors by educating them on trends a manager, business, technology and fund.
JET magazine's May 2008 cover has the word JET printed in large, striking and blue text stop with white casual design font on the upper left-hand corner. There is also a large cheerful photograph of Sen. Obama waving his left hand in the crowd. Only two text blocks exist on the cover. The cover has games for two content, " He is The One: Barack Obama Comes forth As Democrats' Hope To Earn The White House” and " Why Are Black Stars Leaving Prime-Time TV? ” The overall impression I received from the cover was that this is a casual studying magazine protecting a wide range of matters of interest to black community.
Inside the AIRCRAFT magazine, you will find cheerfully colored coded sections for content relevant to blacks on overall health, fashion, music, sports, life-style and entertainment. There are also articles or blog posts on black celebrity birthdays and media. It also provides reports featuring the achievements of well-known black people including professional Will Cruz and field hockey player Kobe Bryant. The magazine provides advertisements intended for Colgate toothpaste, Nivea moisturizer and various TV shows with black actors in prominent roles. The most popular every day cost-effective products and services promoted reflect the simple fact that this journal has a extensive audience.
The cover tale, by Kevin Chappell, upon Sen. Obama compares his Democratic main bid to a heavy excess weight fight where he is about to provide a knock out punch to his opponent....
